Judging Criteria
Social Impact Prize teams are judged on how well they incorporate the Triple Bottom Line principles of People, Planet, Profit into their business. Teams are also judged on the quality of how Triple Bottom Line principles are woven into the business as well as the team's creativity and vision.
We recognize that incorporating many aspects of social and environmental sustainability is hard and one business cannot solve every problem. Thus, it is perfectly acceptable for some teams to focus primarily on incorporating either social or environmental impact, while other teams may choose to incorporate both aspects of sustainability. All teams should remember that their idea must be a viable business as a business without profit will not last long.
